As I was reading this article in NY Times, a wave of nostalgia struck me. To taste the chaats of Chowpatty, the veggie food of Crystal or the rotis of Bade Khan's in Mumbai is, at this time, to be born again. Similarly, the spicy tastes of Andhra food in Nagarjuna's of Bangalore, the Gujarati thalis in the mom-and-pop restaurants of Indore, or the rustic Italian food in a mom-and-pop restaurant near Composante in Italy, or the Ile de Flottante in Paris remind one that there is more to life than the next customer or the next deal....
